Another great thing about building your own set is you can choose how many pieces that you want to build and you have the freedom to mix and match. Some things must be cheaper in the U.S. Here in Aus, the cushion foam alone would cost >$400. Ditto having custom outdoor cushion covers made. Throw in the timber and finish, and it's be surprised if I could build this for <$1000 AUD. As for purchasing the set, I could buy something similar for <$1500 AUD. Almost all of your builds make $$$ sense, especially the "smalls"... This one, however, would be marginal, here at least. Love your work! ❤️👍

    It looks like you are using pine? It's over $7 a LF in my area. White wood is comparable in price with your numbers...but wouldn't it be too soft?

    This is called hooking up in parallel. The idea is the lower voltage battery will draw current from the other cells to balance out but if some cells are out of balance or dead. This won't work

    Almost forgot. Baking soda and thin super glue. Super hard filler, just don’t glue you fingers together. Make sure to layer it if you are doing something thicker. Or the powder in the middle might not get CA to it.

    We aren’t weird at all. I have salt, baking soda, walnut sawdust, pine sawdust, maple sawdust, and Sapele sawdust in prescription bottles out in the garage. Ran out of the old school film containers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I appreciate your video. It saddens me when makers like yourself say anyone can make this, but only if you have all those saws and tables and man toys. I could make that!!! if I could afford all of the equipment you're using😢. You're very entertaining though.

    • @MatthewPeechWoodworking
      @MatthewPeechWoodworking 12 часов назад

      You do not have to have all of the tools that I have and I try to preach that. There are simpler tools and cheaper tools that I started out with that still work and get the job done. A cheap circular saw, a hand saw with a plastic miterbox, a jig saw, the cheapest pocket hole jig... There are so many different options. Do not let a lack of a certain tool keep you from doing something because chances are you have something that will work!

Could you design a vertical corner piece to hold various size mason jars. I need to protect my herbal apothecary from the heat and sun. Ty if you decide to help with this project. I'm sure others can use for herb growing.

    My company loves purchasing garbage Chinese tools from garbage Graingers. I have worked with co-workers and got stuck using thier cheating china sockets. Every set had a what I call a banging socket that you need a hammer to bang it on a hex bolt then at least one socket that is oversized producing a very loose fit. I only use my old made in USA Craftsman & Snap on sockets.

    Great vidio. I never purchase or use ANY tools, safety & test equipment or electrical c supplies from lying cheating lack of quality control nogoodnic communist china. Only own one cheating china tool a warranty replacement for a made in USA breaker bar. Don't trust it so its collecting dust in one of my tool chest.
